We're a friendly bunch of designers and creatives with a shared vision: create products that make people smile, and make sure they're kind to the planet too.
Everything we create is driven by sustainability, from the materials we choose and our focus on quality, to avoiding plastic wherever possible, because we believe gifts should never cost the Earth.
Our commitments
No virgin plastic in our products
Some goods still need plastic packaging to protect them from humidity on their journey. Where we can't avoid it, we're committed to sourcing recycled or biodegradable plastic.
Sell, don't bin
Every year, millions of over-ordered products end up in landfill or burnt. We don't do that. We make smaller quantities so nothing goes to waste.
Fewer, fuller shipments
We consolidate our stock before it ships, so fewer bulk shipments cross the world. It can mean the odd short wait for restocks, but it cuts the CO2 from freight.
Made to last
When you buy from us, you're buying something that will last years, not weeks. And if it's no longer wanted, we want it to be recycled or reused.
Always improving
We don't wait to be told. Every new Pikkii product is checked against these commitments as it's designed, and we're always looking for ways to do better.
Your feedback changes things. One of our independent retailers pointed out that our older packaging was laminated: it looked great, but it contained plastic. We changed it. We now use a water-based varnish with the same premium feel and no plastic.
How our products are made
Our impact on the planet is one part of how we make things. We also work with trusted suppliers who are committed to ethical and sustainable trade, and we've spent over 10 years building those relationships.
Our factories and goods go through strict auditing and testing. Every supplier is asked to meet our ethical checklist, and we won't work with a new supplier who doesn't. Our products are tested by independent third-party laboratories for UK, EU and US sale where needed.
